Am I *that* obvious?

Looking through the list of books I’ve read so far in 2022, it’s pretty obvious that I’ve got a reading type. Yeah, I’m full-on romance reading. I *could* say that it’s research for my own novel, Deckled Edges. (And it is, kind of. But it’s also more.)

Honestly, lounging my way through this string of romance novels is for my mental health. Right now, Happy Ever Afters make getting through the rest of the school year, the rest of the essays to grade, the rest of whatever is coming with mom’s health seem more … doable.

And who couldn’t use more doable right now? Is it all of us? Yeah, I think it is.

Please, please, please do not think this is an exhaustive list. Not even close. And I am definitely on the lookout for more sapphic romance right now, too. So be sure to hit me with any suggestions you’ve got. I’m here for them.

What are you reading for escape? For pleasure? For making your life feel a little more Happy Ever After?

PS – Did I mention I learned HEA means Happy Ever After? It’s a total industry term. And now that I know it, I’m definitely in the in crowd.
