2025 Year in Review plus some people, pets, and things that have brought me joy in the last couple weeks.

Django Kilroy Hussein Esquire died last night. He was my Big Mans, my essay-grading helper, and the reason I became a cat lady. We're gonna miss his cuddles, his lounging prowess, his sneaky escapes out the back door, and his sass

Three days in Torino, Italy. And I wouldn't want to have these adventures with anyone else but you @wwconando . Cheese. Cappuccino. Churches. Cinema. Chocolates. Bulls. Scarves. Wine. And so many steps.

Life lately. Pretty, pretty, pretty good. Minus all the shit.

Roberta Bernadette Boots of the Royal House of Labeija joined the Rine-Walston household on March 30. This 9-week old goofball shares the same birthday as Scottish poet Robert Burns, only she loves hiding under furniture, taking long walks, and playing with all her hand-me-down toys more than she enjoys poetry (alas!). But don''t worry! We're working on it! Mathilde and Django are still a bit skeptical of this little pouncer, but they're coming around. And we're all thrilled that she's started sleeping through the night! Current nicknames include: Bermuda, Bertie Turdie, Hurtey Bertie, Triangle, Shorts, and Bertram.

Boston Sparkly 'Fit Checks at ISU World Figure Skating Championships. We blinged out to show our love for the skaters all weekend. Worth every sequin.

Day 7 of Canterbury, London, and Paris: Our last day abroad was jam-packed with memories, record shops, and STAIRS to Montmartre. Worth every single second. We snuck in a Seine River Cruise, and we enjoyed every moment. Then we had to say goodbye to our Tour Director, Krasi, and we flew safely home.

Day 6 Canterbury, London, and Paris: Where has the time gone?!?! Today is the Vernal Equinox, and I couldn't have been happier to find balance in the busy streets and the quiet spots in Paris, spending time as an experienced traveler with a group of increasingly independent travelers. I'm so grateful for the resources, opportunities, and moments of joy. I also had the chance to marvel at Notre Dame, and then a 360° view of the city from Montparnasse.
